Pivka Park of Military History

The Park of Military History in Pivka holds one of the largest collections of military equipment in Europe – from tanks and armoured vehicles to aircraft, artillery and gear from both World Wars and the Yugoslav People's Army era.

Part of the visit takes you through a former underground bunker built for the Yugoslav army, offering a closer look at the military history of this part of Europe. The museum is a great outing for the whole family and offers a change of pace from the natural attractions nearby.
